Giving Back

HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At Minding Her Business our only focus isn't to just help like-minded entrepreneurial women all across Australia, it's important to give back to back to the community. To date we have raised over $8,500 for local charities for our community.

$8,500

and counting...

Ovarian Cancer Australia was founded by people directly affected by ovarian cancer who wanted to raise awareness of the disease and support those who had been affected.

This group included Nicole Livingstone OAM and her sister Karen Livingstone who lost their mother and aunt to the disease; Simon Lee, whose wife Sheila had been the first Australian ovarian cancer campaigner prior to her death in 2001; actress and comedian Lynda Gibson who was diagnosed in 2000 and subsequently lost her battle in 2004.

Over time, Ovarian Cancer Australia has built on its founders’ aspirations to become a leading national body taking action for Australians affected by ovarian cancer.

Across Australia there are thousands of farmers who need our help. As Australian’s have done in the past with floods in Queensland, fires in Victoria and South Australia, we have supported those less well off than ourselves.

Farmers in Queensland and Northern NSW need our help to keep their cattle, sheep and horses alive through one of the worst droughts in living history and after the cessation of live cattle exports, no wet season and fires.

Australian farmers are the backbone of our country. For hundreds of years they’ve fed us all. Now they need our support to keep their cattle alive and the food in our stomachs. Australia if you can help by donating we’ll see that they receive the fodder they need and the support to get them through this tough time.

Everyone at CFA is committed to improving clinical practice and patient outcomes with the aim of extending life expectancy from 37 to 50 years by 2025.

It is an imposing challenge. Every four days a baby is born in Australia with cystic fibrosis (CF) and more than one million Australians are carriers of CF genes. Cystic Fibrosis Australia (CFA) is working to transform lives and reduce the burden of the disease.

Cystic Fibrosis Australia believes that all people with CF should have the opportunity to lead full, productive and valuable lives with access to the best treatments and high quality clinical care.

CFA supports the broad CF community through Advocacy, Research and Clinical Improvement funding. CFA is committed to improving clinical practice and patient outcomes and experiences.

Cystic Fibrosis Australia has established a consistent approach to advocacy across Australia and is now a subject matter expert for government, industry and the media. We also support state and territory CF bodies who provide valuable services to the CF community.
